I was using Ekko Lightbox with the Bootstrap 4* theme, but since updating to Bootstrap 5 it is no longer supported.
I’ve tried using the Lightbox for Bootstrap 5, but I can’t seem to get it to work. I tried on a clean them install with no other plug ins and still nada….
Installed using npm i bs5-lightbox and import ‘bs5-lightbox’; as per the instructions on this page:

As an alternative solution there are several ready-to-use Lightbox plugins in the WordPress Plugins directory which may be worth a try: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/lightbox
